The Show is amazing. It's the best sports sim I have played. Better than NHL 10 and NBA 2K10 IMO.

Anybody try Heavy Rain? It's only for the PS3. Looks like a great game. It has a lot of replay value too as everyone will go their ways. As a result, the outcome will be different for every gamer.

Quote
Heavy Rain is a high-def psychological thriller; an adventure game with action-oriented elements and a dark storyline that is as disturbing as it is compelling. The noir plot follows the lives of four largely unrelated individuals, all of which have been affected by a serial murderer on the loose. Each with a different motive, the characters seek to end the gruesome spree of the "Origami Killer," so-called for the folded paper creations left on murder victims. Players navigate the game world using the controller's left stick to look around and the trigger to move, squeezing harder to run faster. Interaction with objects comes through context-sensitive buttons. Fights, chases, escapes, and other fast actions are accomplished in quick time event style, as players must punch in a button sequence, move the analog sticks in a particular direction, or shake the controller, quickly and accurately following onscreen cues for success. Each decision and action can influence the development of the plot, and even the ultimate survival of the four main characters depends on the choices the player makes throughout the game. Released in 2010 as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, Heavy Rain was created by Quantic Dream, the French development studio behind 2005's well-received crime adventure for 128-bit systems, Indigo Prophecy (known as Fahrenheit in Europe). ~ T.J. I saw my friend play and its very interesting, but its not much of an actual game. Its not very challenging as you cannot lose, but the storyline is amazing.

Got it the Tuesday it came out, beat it that Thursday. Just tremendously engrossing. You cannot stop playing. Just an amazing story. 14 different endings (don't quote me on that one).

I got one of the beta keys for Starcraft 2! I just played my first game 2 vs 2 me and some other guy versus 2 computers.  It's awesome.  I love the new graphical designs and all the new units.  I only played a game with the Terrans so far and I'm going to try out Protoss and Zergs as well.

I think I'm going to get this when it comes out. (who knows when? Blizzard takes forever when it comes to manufacturing games)

Well I have the original but I have a illegal copy as in I don't have a real CD-Key... So I can only play with computers.  Still It's a good practice since SC1 has some ridiculous computers.

In SC2 they actually have a difficulty adjuster ranging from Very Easy to Very Difficult.  Very Easy is literary a cake walk.  Their first wave of offense is literary 3-5 marines...

I'll probably pick it up over FF13 but I should probably get the GOW Collection first since I've never really played any of them before.

Definitely. You'll be completely lost in GOW 3 without playing the first 2.

Its more complicated than previous ones, and i don't know if they had this in the last one. But real-time attacks is lame. I used to like thinking about what combination of attacks to use, now its basically do whatever is easiest before you get hit yourself. However there is this cool 'paradigm shift' option in battle that changes your players status, i.e. from ravage to medic.

It took me about 8hrs to finish disc 1. Pretty fun, but disc 1 has no roaming at all; which sucks poo.

Just finished Heavy Rain. Would have finished last weekend but they been having so many problems with the game freezing and what not. A patch came out this afternoon. I liked it. It starts off really slow but towards the middle the action really picks up. I have to play another game. One of my characters died, so I want to see if he can survive like the others.

I give it a 9/10.

I have been playing NBA 2k10 on the PC version with a wired 360 controller and it's so beast.

I started an association with the CPUs (Haven't tried online yet as I heard the PC version still struggles with it), and I cheated a little as in I made the fantasy draft fixed and made myself the 1st round pick so I've got some nice guys..

PG - Devin Harris/Jose Calderon
SG - J. R. Smith/Marcus Thorton
SF - LeBron James
PF - Luis Scola/Hakim Warrick
C - Yao Ming (averaging over 3 blocks per game)

After playing through a sometimes enjoyable wii nba 2k10... This is just purely exciting. I am the Nets and we are 7-0 as of now.. 29 game season. I thought I would share. :P

Hey guys. Small favor. I dont post in this thread too often because I'm not really a huge gamer. But my friend is doing a small survey of gamers and I thought you guys could answer a couple of questions. It will only take a couple of minutes. Its mostly general questions but couple are more towards video games dealing with history and mythology.

Here is the link - http://questionpro.com/t/AD2ULZHUEd

If this kind of thing is not allowed, I'll delete but you guys probably know by now that I'm not a spammer.  :P

Thanks!  :)TU

Edit - I would appreciate it if you could pass it on also guys.
